Psyche

I am using this a a repository for myself more than to be read by others. Play psychologist. Anonymous chat where one party is patient and the second the Psyche. People can give and get ratings. Ideal if the platform is tablet or phone

Paperless office

If you have worked in an office you can see it just does not exist. We print countless reams of paper and most often toss them after a day or an hour. We need an E-paper device that is A4 and really easy to 'print to'. Try make the device single purpose and not a tablet with everything. This is the true electronic paper for the electronic office. I bet you more papaer is used in office printers daily than in books.

What to wear app

You wake up in the morning turn on the app and the app says wear a pink pink and blue today. Suddenly hundreds of people are wearing similar colours every day. Not for eveyone but some people want to look the same. It could be fun for a while. Do we really need an app Twitter could be used....

Getty This !

Getty Images, must make a lot of money right ? They are worth $3 Billion. They have a big archive of 80 Million Images. flickr,  picasa,  photobucket, shutterfly Probably have more, OK so there are quality issues but lots of good amateur photos exist. A collaborative photo site ! Anyone can put their pictures onto the site and they are sold  and the commisions are split between the site and the photographer. The site is aimed at people who do not usually sell their stuff. So you go through flickr, Picassa etc and recruit photos, just email and offer to buy, sell whatever. I am sure this would work if it is done correctly. Proffesional photographers will hate it as the internet eats up yet another livleyhood, power to the people. The classification of the images and quality control of images could be moitored by the community them selves and only images above a certain rating accepted. Search could be done using Google. There would not even be a need...

Big Pad

This probably exists or it is being made or will be. It needs to be in every office in the world. A touch screen white board., for business presentations. This is a big IPad or Android , how big about 50 inches should do the trick. I could even be portable. Enough of writing on the whiteboard with permanent market. Power Points , Excels and Word are in the cloud , just sign in and display.  No need to copy the scribblings from the meeting they are mailed to one and all Want a video conference ? Just beam across Scotty on Skype or Google+

Traffic Light Timer !

Yes this is another "Waze" smartphone add on. In brief. You spend a couple of minutes timeing the red / amber /green  cycle of your favourite traffic lights.  This is done by thousands of willing users. Eventually a database is created which can  forecast when each light will change. So now you are driving down the road at 70km and the voice on your Waze GPS says if you drive at 88km or at 27km you can make the light on green. Else you are screwed on red. You save fuel, time.

Electronic Thumb !

Think "The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy" ! Think Waze (awesome app) Another green idea. Hitch hiking - The Good 1) Cheap, Resource efficient way to get places. Spare car seats are used which would otherwise get wasted. 2) Social. Yes human contact , come out of the isolation of your car and meet other living beings. Hitch hiking - The Bad 1) Time inefficient. It can take a long time to find someone willing to offer a lift to a hitcher. 2) Inaccurate the match between the hitchers and drivers destination often has to rely on luck. A driver often does not know where a hitcher wants to go unless he stops. 3) A Driver often needs to make split second decisions on whether to stop for someone or not since you could be travelling at high speed. 4) Uneven benifits from the relationship. The driver is giving and the hitcher is receiving. This is an act of goodwill, which is great for good people, but sometimes the driver would like his cost to be shared. Hitch Hiki...
